**Short answer:** Every plan gives you US and Turkey shipping addresses. Premium and VIP add longer free storage and cheaper (or free) consolidation, and VIP also lets you receive mail and magazines. ## Free storage

Your free storage period starts on the day we log the package into your account. Each package has its own clock. After the free period there's a 30-day grace period with a daily fee. For the full timeline, see "Free storage periods and storage fees".

If you often wait for several orders to arrive before shipping, a longer storage period gives you more room to plan.

## Consolidation

Combining several packages into one shipment is usually the easiest way to save on shipping. The consolidation fee is charged per package: $3.25 on Free, $2.00 on Premium, and free on VIP. ## Mail and magazines (VIP only)

Receiving letters, USPS mail, magazines and catalogs is a VIP feature. Packages from online stores can be received on every plan. See "Can I receive mail and letters at my ForwardMe address?" for how to set it up.

## Personal Shopper

Personal Shopper fees are the same on every plan. See "Personal Shopper fees and extra invoices" for the details.

## Billing and changing your plan

- **Monthly or annual.** Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually.
- **Upgrading.** You can upgrade at any time if you need more storage time or lower consolidation fees.
- **Downgrading.** If you move to a lower plan, packages already in storage keep the storage period they already have. New packages get the storage period of your new plan.

You can add other users to your account for a $20 fee. Contact our support team to set this up.

## Common questions

**Is it free to sign up?**
Yes. Signing up is free, and you get your addresses on the Free plan straight away.

**Do I lose storage days if I downgrade?**
No. Packages already in storage keep their existing storage period. Only packages logged after the change follow your new plan.

**Does VIP make Personal Shopper cheaper?**
No. Personal Shopper fees are the same on every plan. VIP's savings come from free consolidation, longer storage and mail receiving.

**Can I pay for a plan once a year?**
Yes. Paid plans can be billed monthly or annually. You'll see both options on the [membership page](https://www.forwardme.com/membership).

**Can my family use my account?**
Yes. Additional users cost $20. Contact our support team to arrange it.
